Unison Relationships Counselling recognises that your sensitive information, such as contact details and case notes need protection. I am required by law under the Privacy Act 2000, to comply with a strict code of conduct to maintain the privacy of all personal records. All client information is only accessible by the clinician and is stored electronically and securely.
Disclosure:
The information collected by Unison Relationship Counselling will only be used for therapeutic purposes and will not be disclosed to a third party unless written consent is sought from the client first. In the event that the clinician becomes aware of a situation where somebody's safety is at risk and or there are welfare concerns for a child, the clinician is required by both her professional body and by the Children and Young Persons Act 2008 to notify the relevant third parties as specified under the Act.
